Imaginative explorers who want to get away for a combination of adventure and travel might want to consider Brazil as their next destination, following comments from the country's Brazilian Tourist Office.
According to Glauco Chris Fuzinatto, director of UK and Ireland for the body, the South American location has something for everyone, whether they are interested in luxury travel, ecotourism or gap year trips.
He added that culture is the one of the country's main draw.
"Every state has its own music, gastronomy and culture. It's a multicultural country really. That's what attracts people who want to stay in Brazil is because it's a cultural destination with arts and music," Mr Fuzinatto said.
In addition, he suggested that Brazil could be great for adventure holidays, citing Iguassu Falls as a must see for those who like to immerse themselves in the great outdoors.
Companiesandmarkets.com's Brazil Tourism Report recently predicted that the number of travellers heading to Brazil each year would grow to around 9.2 million by 2014.
