Imaginative explorers hoping to see the sites of Vietnam and Cambodia might be interested in taking a trip down the Mekong River.
Sea dogs may be pleased to know that Amawaterways has announced the start of the construction of a brand new cruise ship that join the Vietnam, Cambodia and the Riches of the Mekong programme.
This will offer seven-day trips down the famous river, allowing imaginative travellers to take in the sites between Vietnam's Ho Chi Minh City and Siem Reap in Cambodia.
Commenting on the appeal of the river, the cruise line's president Rudi Schreiner said: "The scenery is incredible, with many small villages, islands and temples."
He added that "the other remarkable thing about the Mekong is that it includes three major cities" - Ho Chi Minh, Phnom Penh and Siem Reap.
The Mekong is the longest river in south-east Asia and flows a distance of around 2,600 miles.
