Imaginative explorers who want to visit a destination with a unique and eclectic culture may be interested in heading on a small group holiday to Singapore.
The Singapore Tourism Board recently revealed that the number of travellers going to the region grew by 17.6 per cent - to 908,000 - in January compared to the year before, which is the highest number ever recorded in the first month of the year.
And Eunice Yeo, the body's area director for northern and western Europe, commented that the area has a lot to offer holidaymakers.
"With its mix of Chinese, Indian, Malay and Eurasian nationalities, Singapore is a melting pot of culture and colour," she said.
She added that its cuisine, shopping, history and nightlife make it a perfect destination for a wide range of people.
Furthermore, Ms Yeo explained that Singapore offers good value for money as a result of a variety of accommodation, frequent flights from the UK, affordable food and well-priced visitor attractions.
