Imaginative travellers who have just tied the knot have been advised to make their honeymoon more of an adventure holiday.
Metro News claims that the key to a successful honeymoon is being able to combine relaxation with other activities.
"This is the one chance you get to really splash out on the holiday of a life¬time, so you want to take advantage of it and do something exceptional," the publication states.
It also lists some of the destinations that imaginative travellers may like to consider for their post-wedding trip abroad.
Apparently, Mauritius, Mozambique and South Africa are three of the countries that could offer the right blend for a honeymoon.
The newspaper also advises people to "be sure to book the first few days' hotel rooms", because even adventure holiday enthusiasts are unlikely to want to traipse around for accommodation on arrival in a new country.
Alternatively, a Borneo honeymoon could provide option for newlyweds due to its mixture of sandy beaches, well-preserved rainforest and intriguing wildlife.
