Jordan tours could be perfect for music numbers

Friday, March 19, 2010

Imaginative travellers with a love for music might be interested in heading out on a Jordan tour this summer.

The Annual Distant Heat festival is set to take place from July 29th in the Wadi Rum desert and will showcase some of the leading international DJs and local electronic dance music artists in an all-night party.

In addition, the celebrations will continue the day after, with various pool and beach parties in Aqaba.

According to the festival's organisers, the stunning surroundings are worth checking out for music-loving imaginative explorers.

Wadi Rum "is a most unique venue for a party of this kind with the backdrop of the magnificent Jordanian desert terrain aiming to bring people together in a magical setting", the website states.

Artists who have performed at the event in the past include Bee Bee, Hasan H, Armin Van Buuren, DJ Raed, Above & Beyond, Josh Gabriel and Rachael Starr.
