Sport-loving imaginative explorers may be interested in a trip to Hong Kong, which is gearing up to host the world-famous Rugby Sevens tournament.
Those keen on witnessing the spectacle have just over a week to head to the region, with the event kicking off on March 26th at the Hong Kong Stadium.
Rugby sevens is played with just seven players on each team - as opposed to a normal 15-man rugby union side - which often makes for an exciting game, with more space to be exploited by the speedy and athletic stars.
According to the area's official tourism board, some 120,000 spectators of 24 teams are expected to attend during the three-day championship, where they will hope to lose themselves in both the rugby action and the "carnival atmosphere" of Hong Kong's many bars and clubs.
However, if visitors are planning on a holiday later on in the year, there is still a multitude of events that could catch their eye, the organisation states.
These include the Cheung Chau Bun Festival from May 21st, the Hong Kong Dragon Boat Carnival between July 23rd and 25th and the Mid-autumn Lantern Festival on September 22nd.
