Trekking equipment, porters and guides
On all our Traveller treks you will receive a Trek Pack which includes a sleeping bag and sheet liner, duvet jacket and kit bag in which the porters can then transport your personal luggage. A specialised medical kit and portable altitude chamber (for high altitude treks) and will also be carried and on mountaineering expeditions any necessary climbing and camping equipment will be provided.
Each trek is fully supported with porters, yaks or ponies carrying your kitbag so you only need to trek with a day pack. We have a high ratio of qualified and highly experienced guides to trekkers to provide support during the trek and all our porters are well trained and provided for (we are an active supporter of the International Porter Protection Group).
