Make friends with the locals on the overnight train to Chiang Mai.Travel by local bus through rich farming lands to Ayuthaya, the former capital of old SiamJump on a bike and
ride to one of the many temples located in Ayuthaya for a guided tourPerhaps continue on to visit more
temples, go for a leisurely ride around town or head back to the hotel to chill out Board the overnight sleeper train
to Chiang Mai in the evening
Chiang Mai - Hill Tribe Trek
You've got a day to chill out in Chiang Mai before our trek to the highlands. Yes, your legs will hurt but wait until you meet your next mode of transport... an elephant! There's also haggling for handmade arts and crafts plus an overnight stay in a local hut. Day 5Visit the Tribal Research Institute and gain excellent background
information on the cultures and customs of the various inhabitants of the hill regions Thailand and Laos
Set off on an excursion to the top of Doi Suthep, with fantastic views over the
