The Marangu Route is approx. 80km long, and is one of the most popular treks up the mountain. We trek through beautiful rainforest and skirt the base of Maundi Crater before emerging into grassland. There is a demanding climb to the summit but the views are breathtaking. Accommodation is in communal huts and our guides and porters take care of us including cooking all our meals. Complete your East African experience with a superb safari in the world famous Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater.
