Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh by Bike

Hi, Just wondering if anyone has booked for the July 09 trip from Bangkok to Ho Chi Minh by bike? Has anyone done this trip before? Whats it like? I'm booked up on the July tour but am unsure whether or not I should bring my own bicycle or buy one out there as I have a few stop offs before I hit Bangkok. I'm also staying out in Vietnam for a further 3 weeks. Also, what type of age group usually go on this tour? Cheers, Rebecca.
