This is THE most popular trip we offer, and with good reason. Overlanding through quintessential safari country, this holiday length adventure packs in about as much wildlife – chimpanzees, rhinos, lions, giraffes, hippos, leopards and gorillas, as it’s possible to see in 16 days. You’ll safari in Lake Nakuru National Park, journey through Uganda spending 2 nights at a tea plantation to visit the Kibale Forest, famous for its chimpanzees, go on a big game safari in QEII National park including a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel, in Rwanda’s Volcano National Park – arguably the highlight of the trip – camp and take a walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park, camp at Jinja, located above the swirling currents of the White Nile before overlanding through Western Kenya and the Rift Valley. We’ve also included a visit to the Saida Orphanage Project, which is improving the lives of local children by allowing them a means to escape poverty and giving them hope for the future.
