Bolivia is one of the highest and most isolated of the Latin American republics. It has a great deal to offer adventurous travellers in search of an authentic Andean experience. We begin in La Paz and explore the highest city in the world before setting off by bus and train to the seemingly endless and beautiful salt desert of Uyuni.

Next, we explore silver-rich Potosi high up on the Altiplano (high plains) and the charming colonial town of Sucre, before flying back to the lofty heights of La Paz.
