Beirut is a stylish, cosmopolitan and lively city, full of bars, cafes and art galleries, Zahle is home to arguably the best food in the Middle East, Bcharre is in the most picture perfect setting, high in the craggy peaks of Lebanon's Qadisha valley, but my favourite place of all is Baalbek, home to some of the best preserved Roman ruins in the Middle East."
