Many countries have introduced screening measures and entry restrictions at border crossings and transport hubs, depending on factors such as your nationality, where you have recently been, and your health status. If you have recently been in China or other affected countries, you may not be allowed to enter or transit, or you may be required to enter a period of quarantine after entry.
Screening measures on arrival may include temperature checks, and you could be asked about your general health or recent travel history. Where these checks identify a concern, further medical checks may be required.
You must therefore ensure that you check the relevant travel advice for each country you are due to travel to or transit through.
For UK nationals, please use the UK FCO travel advice per country: https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice. Please ensure you go beyond the landing page of each country and read the full advice, paying particular attention to the Entry Requirements and Health sections. For non UK nationals, please ensure you read your home government’s travel advice.
Please be aware that the situation is changing by the hour and you need to check the advice relating not only from your home country and your destination but also any countries that you are transiting through.
If you’re affected by these changes and need further information about entry requirements, contact the local immigration authorities or the embassy, high commission or consulate of the country you’re travelling to. You should also check with your airline for the latest information.
If you have any questions or concerns then please contact us to discuss your situation.
What if I don’t want to travel?
If you feel you do not wish to travel on a trip that is operating then please contact us to discuss the situation.
