Bosnia and Herzegovina

Bosnia and Herzegovina has for centuries been at the crossroads of many ancient civilisations. Travellers are once again discovering the incredible highlights of Bosnia following its recovery from the war in the 1990s.

Its capital of Sarajevo is one of the most beautiful and dramatically located cities in Europe, with its cobbled streets, Ottoman minarets, and fantastic restaurants and shisha bars yearning to be explored.

Bosnia's dramatic mountain countryside and rural communities are real highlights, and the old town of Mostar with its famous medieval bridge is even more magical than the photos suggest!
