Alaska

Although part of the USA, Alaska feels like another world. A land of incredible mountain ranges, gigantic shining glaciers and sprawling national parks, it’s the home of a rich abundance of native wildlife, including moose, caribou, and grizzly bears; sea otters, puffins and humpback whales; Dall sheep, wolves and bald eagles. The sheer scale of the state of Alaska is hard to fathom, but there are rewards aplenty for those adventurers looking to answer Jack London’s ‘call of the wild’.

Drive across frozen plains past massive peaks, walk across remote tundras to glacial rivers and kayak in spectacular waters, before reemerging into civilisation with visits to Anchorage and Valdez.
