Frequently asked questions re trips operating during the Coronavirus Outbreak

If you have upcoming travel plans with us, or are thinking of booking a trip, we understand that you'll have plenty of questions about the impact the Coronavirus (COVID-19) Pandemic is having. To help you understand more about how it may, or may not, affect your travels, we hope these FAQs may help.

The safety of our travellers and staff is always our utmost priority, and we are updating our pages regularly with this unfolding situation. We have access to real-time safety updates and information within the countries we travel to.

Are you still running trips?

As always, the welfare of our travellers and our staff is our abolute priority. Rest assured we have an experienced operations team who are monitoring the situation closely and following FCO and WHO advice, as well as local official government travel advisories.  Where trips have been suspended we have been in touch with passengers to let them know. Trips booked through Intrepid are currently suspended until 31st May. Trips booked through Exodus are suspended until 15th May.

Our Tailor Made specialists are in touch with clients and keeping them informed of this ever changing situation.

I want to make a booking for the future?

You can still book a trip with us, safe in the knowledge that we will monitor the situation and inform you if there will be any effect on your travel plans. We know the situation will improve eventually and are here to help you with your future travel plans.

I have a trip booked after the current suspension dates?

We will continue to provide updates for any destination where our trips are affected by coronavirus. If a change of itinerary or cancellation is required, we will inform you as soon as a decision is made.

If we haven't been in contact, then it means your trip is currently running as normal. In making our updates we are informed by advice from the relevant foreign travel advisory and the World Health Organization (WHO).

It's important to remember this is an unfolding situation, and circumstances will likely change significantly in the next few months. This means choosing to cancel or delay your booking now may result in unnecessary cancellation and amendment fees.
