If you want to see a wide variety and abundance of game without roughing it, this trip could be for you. However if like me you prefer to watch animal behaviour without another 17 tourist buses jostling for position, then try somewhere else. Having done other safaris, this left me rather cold, even felt claustrophobic at times.
This was my second time on this trip. I did it in June 2016 and decided to try a trip in February instead. Yet again, it didn't disappoint. Accommodation was great - especially Rhino Lodge and Tarangire Lodge and we saw a multitude of wildlife - much close up. I came home with about 3000 photos again!
Have to rate that trip as excellent everyone needs a bit of luck on these trips and we had it by the barrow load though this was bought about by the staff.
This was a wonderful safari covering 3 great parks with supported camping.
This was not only our first trip with Exodus but our first safari and we were not disappointed. We were well looked after and our leader and drivers were extremely knowledgable which made for a very enjoyable and interesting trip. It was a busy schedule visiting four different areas, Lake Manyara, the Serengeti, Ngorongoro Crater and finally Tarangire Safari Park, each one slightly different. Our group were in two Land Cruisers on Game Drives every day, we could sit and enjoy the scenery and stop to watch an amazing amount of wildlife. It was a privilege to see the wildebeest migrating it was amazing to see them across the plains on the Serengeti as far as the eye could see; a photograph just couldn't capture the image, you had to just spend time looking at the view. I would certainly go on a safari again.
Best holiday I have ever had! Wildlife in abundance and closer than I could have hoped for and landscape was breath-taking. Great organisation; brilliant guide and fantastic travelling companions.
This trip offered an amazing wildlife spectacle! It definitely boosted my photography porfolio which was my objective. Listening to lions roar at night was amazing! Seeing Cheetah, Lions and Leapords all before breakfast was something I will never forget.
We had a fantastic guide/driver, (Julius), who was a great animal spotter. We saw the big five! However, seven people in one vehicle meant we had to take turns to take photos.
A brilliant trip from start to finish. I was amazed at how much we saw on the drives. There was nothing that we didn't see. Everything from Lions eating, to a Leopard relaxing up a tree, to Elephants rolling around in mud. Not to mention scores of Zebra, Wildebeest, and Giraffe and even a well hidden Cheetah.
We had a great time and saw so many animals on our trip. Never a dull moment. Over the week we saw a total of 31 lions! We managed to see the big 5 although the Rhinos were at a great distance.
Wow, Just Wow. Our first Safari experience and the whole trip had different and memorable highlights on each day. From seeing Elephants in family groups, Lions, Leopards, Cheetah, Black Rhino, in fact the list goes on and on. At the start of the trip we were shouting out having seen an animal only to find that it was a tree or a termite mound but as the week progressed we were far better at spotting the local wild life. Being out each day on safari helps and ensured we saw as many different animals as possible. At each site we stayed at, we received a friendly welcome and the facilities were excellent.
Quite simply wonderful!!! We did the camping version of the trip are so pleased we did rather than the lodge version. Everything was perfect. We didnt lift a finger. Julius, the guide, and his team were professional, knowledgable, helpful and good company. Juma, the cook excelled in producing 3 great meals a day under difficult conditions. They helped to make this a very memorable experience. Hats off to them.
