Imaginative Traveller has donated more than £2,000 to help fund Field Rangers and vital research equipment on the UmPhafa Private Nature Reserve in KwaZulu-Natal, following a bespoke tour that was organised. The funds, donated to the charity Action for the Wild, were generated after Imaginative Traveller organised a tour to their private nature reserve.
Those on the tour had the exclusive chance to see how the reserve operated, met the team and went on game drives through the bush.
The rangers play a crucial role in assisting with security as well as monitoring high priority species and the equipment in the form of one GPS and camera traps which will provide an insight into species' movements around the reserve.
